In 2025 I traveled to Japan for my second time. I took my Fujifilm xt4 with my Olympus Zuiko 50mm f1.8 film lens. These photos are straight from camera using a custom film recipe.
I spent a week alone in and around the Tokyo area exploring Kamakura, Central Tokyo and more. Then a couple of my friends joined me where we ventured up north spending a day in Aomori then going to Sapporo. After a few days there I flew to Nagoya to meet another friend who had just arrived. The next day we walked a small section of the Nakasendo Trail from Magome-Juku to Tsumago-Juku. From there we traveled to Osaka where we met back up with my other friends who took a ferry from Sapporo. After this was Kyoto then back to Tokyo where I parted ways. This was my first time doing solo international travel and traveling with a few friends I always had my camera with me and shooting with an analog lens makes you slow down and appreciate what you are photographing a little more.
